Research Institutes and Partnerships
UCF offers many opportunities for collaboration with research facilities and institutes as well as partnerships with various corporations. Almost $200 million, in the form of grants and research funding, is awarded annually to UCF faculty and students. UCF is the 7th largest 4-year institution for enrollment.
Within the College of Arts & Humanities, the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA) is a graduate video game design school offering an accredited master's degree in interactive entertainment. Areas of study include game design, development, art, programming, and production. FIEA maintains a flourishing partnership with gaming industry giant Electonic Arts. UCF Theatre's graduate programs have a close working relationship with the Orlando Repertory Theatre ("The Rep"), the Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival, and the Seaside Music Theater. The College of Arts & Humanities currently offers 11 Masters and Doctoral degrees. From the different tracks available, Arts & Humanities offers a total of 18 degree options and 7 certificates in a diverse array of disciplines.
