Santana Wins UCF Woman of the Month Award

The Multicultural Student Center awarded M. C. Santana, Ph.D. the UCF Honors: Woman of the Month Award. Santana was nominated by the National Organization for Women/ UCF chapter and the Iota Beta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. Santana is the faculty advisor for both UCF student groups.

The awards ceremony took place on the Fairwinds Alumni Center on March 23, 2012. The other recipients were Delaine Priest, Melissa Westbrook, Edwanna Andrews, Rachel Brill, and Mikyba Cooper. This is the inaugural year for this award showcasing overall excellence and mentoring.
